Når man er projektleder som Marianne, kan man have en tendens til at nørde sig meget ned i projektdetaljer og glemme at løfte blikket og se på, hvad der ellers sker i og omkring MAJaC. Det er ikke så lidt. Faktisk er dette svært ikke at blive både forpustet og imponeret.

MAJaC klar med nye kurser
læs mereI mange år har MAJaC drømt om at kunne udvide sin undervisning til også at omfatte egentlige kurser i kommunikation, film/fotografi og digital design. Nu er det virkelighed. Med finansiering via projekt UPCIM har MAJaC været i stand til at udvikle tre nye fag.

læs mereI mange måneder var det usikkert om det ville lykkes at få parlamentet til at ændre holdning om omskæring af kvinder, men efter en stærk kampagne fra en masse civilsamfundsorganisationer, heriblandt anti-FGM-organisationerne, den kvindelige journalistforening WOJaG og mange, mange andre er det fortsat ulovligt i Gambia at omskære piger og kvinder.
